On behalf of the the Faculty and the Central London Forum, Stephen Cornish has organised a Faculty Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Wednesday 11th May 2022 at 4.30 p.m. until 6.00 p.m.

Stephen Cornish will be delivering on the following subject:

  • 105 years on from Selby v Whitbread: is this much quoted case relevant in considering binding and ultra vires sections in awards and the continuing liability of building owners?

Stephen Cornish (Director of Promotion & Marketing at the Faculty) is a well known and respected Chartered Surveyor throughout Middlesex, North West London and Central London. Stephen has an insatiable passion for architecture and its history.  He has a Doctorate in building history, a subject that finds him lecturing at Birkbeck Collegue University of London. He lectures on Party Wall maters and is a widely consulted  “Third Surveyor”  settling Party Wall disputes between Party Wall surveyors.

CPD certificates will be issued after the event. Please be aware that if you do not join within the first 30 minutes, you will not receive a cpd certificate. We cannot be responsible for anyone that does not attend the zoom meeting and please note that we will not provide video recordings of events that are missed.
