On behalf of the the Faculty and the Central London Forum, Stephen Cornish has organised a Faculty Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Tuesday 15th March 2022 at 4.30 p.m. until 6.00 p.m.

Victoria Woolf (Lawyer) at Osborne Clark LLP and Howard Smith (Barrister) at Radcliffe Chambers will be delivering on the following subject:

  • Whose jurisdiction is it anyway?

Victoria Woolf – Victoria is an Associate Director in the real estate disputes team in London. She acts for a variety of clients in the Real Estate & Infrastructure sector, specialising in advising on neighbourly disputes arising out of property developments. Victoria has a particular expertise in advising on Party Wall Act issues. She regularly acts for both property developers and building occupiers in party wall related disputes, and she has extensive experience of the Party Wall Act process. She is one of five lawyers selected by Edward Bailey to be on the legal panel for the Party Wall Mediation Scheme LLP of which Edward Bailey, The Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and the P&T are the designated members, which is to be launched shortly. In addition, Victoria advises property developers on rights to light matters affecting developments. She also undertakes residential and commercial licensing work, advising both landlords and tenants on issues relating to licences for consent and licences for access.

Howard Smith – Howard Smith specialises in litigation and related advisory work in chancery and commercial cases. He is widely experienced in all areas of property work including conveyancing disputes and neighbour disputes involving rights of light, party walls, boundaries, easements and restrictive covenants, and professional negligence disputes involving property issues. He acts for both landlords and tenants in commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes and leasehold enfranchisement.

Please be aware that if you do not join within the first 30 minutes, you will not receive a cpd certificate. We cannot be responsible for anyone that does not attend the zoom meeting and please note that we will not provide video recordings of events that are missed.
