On behalf of the the Faculty and the Central London Forum, Stephen Cornish has organised a Faculty Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Wednesday 19th January 2022 at 4.30 p.m. until 6.00 p.m.

Steve Campbell (Director and Vice President of the Faculty) will be delivering on the following subject:

  • Going to the Third Surveyor – “who, why, when, how”

This forum webinar provides valuable insight into how a presentation can be made to the third surveyor, who can make an approach, when to make an approach and the do’s and don’ts of a good referral. Steve will also deal, in some detail, with the knotty legal issues of jurisdiction, the rules of natural justice, bias, and impartiality. It explains in plain English what a good referral should contain and how it can be set out. A must for all practising party wall surveyors.

Steve Campbell is one of the country’s best known and most respected Party Wall Surveyor. He is the Director for Training and Education and also Vice President at the Faculty. Steve writes and delivers training seminars and forum presentations and has had articles published in professional journals. A highly knowledgeable and experienced Third Surveyor with a reputation for prompt, practical determinations. Steve also practises in international and Domestic Arbitration, Construction Adjudication and Mediation. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Chartered Construction Manager.
