Key Note – the Continuing Jurisdiction of Surveyors
HH Edward Bailey discusses the concerns which have been expressed in party wall circles in respect of two court decisions suggesting  that as soon as an appointment is made the surveyors’ tribunal making and serving the award are functus officio, that is, the surveyors’ jurisdiction has expired  and each and every further dispute has to be determined by new appointments.
