*Members only event*
Due to popular demand The Faculty has organised this further date which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Wednesday 7th September 2022 at 4.30 p.m. until 6.00 p.m.
Stuart Frame (Barrister) will be delivering on the following subject:
- Update on revised standard notices and letters templates etc.
Following on from the successful launch of the Standard Award Template, we are pleased to announce the launch of its standard templates for notices and counter-notices that are required to be ‘served’ under the Act, as well as templates for surveyors’ for written appointments and agency roles. There are twenty-four separate documents in total for Faculty members to use.
These standard templates are designed to assist in producing the necessary and correct information to the appointing owners and / or the other surveyors involved in matters under the 1996 Act. There are various footnotes used as prompts so our members can ensure these documents are bespoke to their particular matter.
We trust that you will find these useful and informative.
Stuart Frame is one of the country’s leading barristers specialising in the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 and has had a keen interest in the Act and its practical application since its inception. He is a practising barrister at the leading property law set, Tanfield Chambers, London, and an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty. He has a Real Property law practice, dealing with such matters as boundary disputes and easements, but his real specialism is in party wall matters which make up approximately 90% of his practice. Consequently he has advised or appeared in court on hundreds of party wall cases. Stuart’s extensive experience gained from working in the construction industry prior to practising as a barrister means that he has excellent technical knowledge to complement his legal training and experience.
