The Faculty has organised a Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by ZOOM on Tuesday 27th February 2024 at 4.00 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.
Howard Smith (Barrister) at Radcliffe Chambers & James Beat (Partner) at Lincoln & Rowe Law Firm will be delivering on the following:
- Case Law Update – some of the more interesting decisions over the last year or so.
James Beat – James specialises in a broad spectrum of property disputes across the UK, assisting clients in reaching a resolution to their problems in his trademark approachable, pragmatic style. James has significant expertise in resolving complex property disputes and has been involved in several of the leading modern cases involving party walls and rights of light. James is a member of the Property Litigation Association. He has been an active member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club (P&T) for over 10 years and is an affiliate member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors. He is a regular speaker on the subject of party walls and neighbourly disputes.
Howard Smith – Howard Smith specialises in litigation and related advisory work in chancery and commercial cases.
He is widely experienced in all areas of property work including conveyancing disputes and neighbour disputes involving rights of light, party walls, boundaries, easements and restrictive covenants, and professional negligence disputes involving property issues. He acts for both landlords and tenants in commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes and leasehold enfranchisement.

CPD certificates will be issued after the event. Please be aware that if you do not join within the first 30 minutes, you will not receive a cpd certificate. We cannot be responsible for anyone that does not attend the zoom meeting and please note that we will not provide video recordings of events that are missed.
