- Faculty Forum Webinar with Rob French - 29th April 2026 (virtual)
29/04/2026
16:00 - 17:30
The Faculty has organised a Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by ZOOM on Wednesday 29th April 2026 at 4.00 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.
Rob French of Delva Patman Redler will be delivering on the following:
- Third Surveyor Process
There is often confusion around the Third Surveyor process; when is it right to refer, what checks do you need to undertake before referring, what will the Third Surveyor need, how should you approach a Third Surveyor, what should you and what shouldn’t you do in a referral process etc. This talk thoroughly explains the Third Surveyor process, the associated Do’s and Don’ts and highlights the pit falls to be avoided. It also explores the conduct expected from the referring parties and explores relevant associated case law.
Rob French of Delva Patman Redler is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with strong party wall surveying expertise. Rob leads the London team at Delva Patman Redler of specialist building surveyors. His insight helps clients and project teams navigate development challenges with ease.
Rob also contributes to shaping the future of the surveying industry through his involvement in several initiatives, formerly holding the positions of treasurer of the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust and Chair of the RICS London Matrics University Liaison Committee. He is a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors.
