The Faculty has organised a Faculty Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Thursday 17th June 2021 at 4.00 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.

Scott Roffey (MCIOB, MFPWS, AssocRICS) will be delivering the subject:

  • Building Pathology & the Party Wall Surveyor covering;

    • Excavations and the associated considerations of trees, Japanese knotweed and drains,
    • Traditional wall construction and associated defects,
    • Chimney breast removal, dampness, wood boring insects and ventilation of sub floors.

Scott spent 25 years learning the industry as a building contractor, before taking the step toward opening his building surveying practice, Charterhouse Surveying. Scott is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.  In addition to working as a party wall Surveyor, Scott has put the experience gained to use by specialising in building pathology and remediation. For over 14 years, he has volunteered his time for an international charity to assist in the design & construction of new buildings and the care of their existing premises across the UK & Ireland.

1.5 CPD Hours. 

CPD certificates will be issued after the event. Please be aware that if you do not join within the first 30 minutes, you will not receive a cpd certificate. We cannot be responsible for anyone that does not attend the zoom meeting and please note that we will not provide video recordings of events that are missed.
