On behalf of the the Faculty and the Warwickshire Forum, Kate Cunningham has organised a Faculty Forum Webinar which will be presented to you by the video-conferencing app called ZOOM on Tuesday 30th March 2021 at 4.00 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.

Gary Jackson (MRICS, MAE) of GAJ Surveys Ltd, Chartered Land Surveyor, Boundary Consultant, Expert Witness will be delivering the subject on:

• Where is the boundary? (With reference to the RICS Guidance note on Boundaries 4^th Edition – Feb 2021)

Gary has extensive survey experience within the public and private sectors and has provided numerous land and measured surveys for government, educational and financial institutions, as well as a broad range of commercial clients including Architects, Engineers, Developers, Solicitors, and other professional consultants, such as Party Wall Surveyors and Right of Light Consultants. Boundary related survey work is across all sectors and appointments are received as both Single and Joint Expert, often providing Court Compliant reports and acting as an Expert Witness. Gary also works closely with public sector organisations and commercial clients advising on boundary related matters for land disposal and property development. Since July 2018 Gary has been a member of the RICS Boundaries and Party Wall Working Group and since June 2020 a member of the Academy of Experts. During 2020 Gary was part of the RICS team updating the RICS Guidance Note on Boundaries (4^th edition) which was published in February 2021, “Boundaries: procedures for Boundary Identification, Demarcation and Dispute Resolution”.
