Mike Clarke & Victoria Woolf will be delivering the topics:
• When is there a need for an advising engineer & monitoring
• The differences & requirements for licenses when compared to party wall agreements & maintenance & access issues
Mike Clarke – After becoming a chartered civil engineer and structural engineer Mike started his own firm, Lucking & Clark, in 1987. After 25 years in general practice, working on commercial and residential projects in London, he stepped down as a partner in 2012 to specialise in the provision of structural engineering advice to party wall surveyors. Many of our members have benefited from his concise, careful and common-sense advice as their ‘advising engineer’.
Victoria Woolf – Victoria is a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department of Child & Child, where she has been since 2014. Victoria specialises in party wall and rights of lights matters and boundary disputes. She has a general expertise in neighbourly matters and also advises on landlord tenant issues, namely consents for alterations, section 20 procedure and rights of first refusal. She is also a member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club.
