Why You Need a Party Wall Surveyor
Under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, if you are building on or near a shared wall, constructing on a boundary, or excavating within 3 m of a neighbouring property, you must serve a formal Party Wall Notice. Failing to do so can delay your project or lead to legal disputes.
