Third Surveyor Training Course
Our Education and Training is second to none. Having been in existence since 2001 we have established ourselves as the recognised body for teaching in all matters relating to the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. We are a not for profit organisation whose raison d’être is the promotion of best practice in this niche area of surveying.
This training course is designed to provide a formal framework for the training and assessment of candidates for listing in the register of approved Third Surveyors.
It is hoped that formal training will go some way to avoiding these pitfalls and ensuring that those practitioners listed by the Faculty are well informed and competent.
This is for extremely experienced party wall surveyors.
Anyone wishing to upgrade from Member to Fellow status must have been a FPWS Member for one year and is required to attend this course.
If you would like to upgrade, electronic copies of the documentation and £225 interview fee are required to be submitted prior to arranging a professional interview date. Please produce an award from instructions supplied with course paperwork.
Third Surveyor Training Course – Overview
Who Is It For?
- Extremely experienced party wall surveyors
- Members wishing to apply for Fellowship of the FPWS
- Those wishing to be listed on the Third Surveyor register on the FPWS website (in the event two surveyors cannot agree a Third Surveyor, this list is used by the appointing officer at the Local Council).
Outcome & Benefits
A good and proficient understanding of the duties of a Third Surveyor.
*Eligibility for upgrade from Member to Fellow status of the Faculty.
6 CPD hours, certification available.
*A Third Surveyor application is to be supported by providing a Third Surveyor award, produced from a set of instructions supplied with the course paperwork.
Delivery
The party wall training course is structured and presented by subject experts in a professional and friendly manner. The presentation is provided in hard copy for you to take copious notes and you are encouraged to interact with questions to enhance the learning experience.
